13 Reasons Why

“Hello, boys and girls. Hannah Baker here. Live and in stereo." (Page 39). Jay Asher brings alive the life of a dead girl in the book 13 Reasons why. Hannah Baker was all but a normal teenager who had her fair share of bullying, now it was her turn. She may not be alive but that doesn't mean she's not scared to make everyone else's life hell.
13 tapes of why Hannah Baker had died was finally released to each one of those reasons. Asher illustrated a way of hooking the readers in by leading in a HUGE story. But I have one big question. WHY!!!??? Why would Hannah want all these people to suffer when some of them actually didn't do anything. Take clay for example. He didn't do anything. He was nice to her. He liked her. “Overhearing gossip about Clay became a similar distraction. And like I said, I didn’t know him very well, but my ears perked up whenever I heard his name. I guess I wanted to hear something—anything—juicy.”(page 351). So why was he made out to be one of the mixed criminals on the suspect line?  I get she liked him but why what's he a reason she died? I NEED TO KNOW! WHY!?
